Burger King have cooked up (flame grilled perhaps) a new twist on the tried and tested format. They've long claimed to offer to make your nosh "your way", but in reality requests for anything except "no sauce" are likely to be met with a blank stare. And whenever they do carry the ingredients for decent toppings they're generally only available as part of some extortionately priced movie tie-in burger. Subway have them licked when it comes to customisation.
Enter the eggheads at BK R&D. Why not have a burger outlet where they cook a very limited selection of stock burgers and then top each one to order. Just like subway do. Only with more grease and fries! Genius. The first one is going to be in Orlando... handy.
